Adult Triathlon
Think you have what it takes? Come join us and find out by registering for the 2010 Black Squirrel Triathlon! The triathlon is on Saturday, August 21, 2010 at Lake Manawa State Park. The race is open to ages 7 & older, both individuals and teams! Proceeds will benefit Council Bluffs, Parks, Recreation and Public Property, Council Bluffs YMCA, and Iowa Department of Natural Resources-Lake Manawa. And they're off! Swimmers take to the water at Lake Manawa for the first leg (1000 yd swim) of the Hy-Vee Black Squirrel Triathlon.
Bikers will start at Lake Manawa State Park Beach and bike around the lake 3 times for a total of 19.3 miles.
The Hy-Vee Black Squirrel Triathlon will conclude with a 6.2-mile run on City trails (3.1 out and 3.1 back to the finish line).
